Happy Friday everyone ! You made it through the week.  Here is everything that went on today.

Forensics

Today we took some more notes on eyewitness accounts.  We discussed what influences eyewitness testimony and briefly talked about facial compositions.  We then watched a 60 Minutes report on a man that was wrongfully imprisoned because of eyewitness accounts and was later exonerated with DNA evidence.  You should have passed in the worksheet that went along with this video as classwork.  Most of you did a great job with this and seemed really interested in the video.

Homework

No homework

Reminder: A few of you have not handed in the paper.  The paper is worth 50 points and is an assessment (70% of your grade).  By now it is very late.  You can still get points on it but your grade will be a failing grade (ex. you could get a 10/50 - this is technically a 20% but at least you have 10 points as opposed to none).  Not passing in anything almost guarantees you a failing grade in this class already.  Therefore, HAND SOMETHING IN !

Integrated Science

Today we finished watching MythBusters and started discussing measurement, our next section.  You should have handed in the worksheet that went along with the Mythbusters video about how they utilize the scientific method in their experiment.  I showed you your quiz grades.  There are only 2 more people that need to take it and once they do I will go over the quiz with all of you and you can have it for your binder.

Homework

Read the article about measurement to prepare for the next section
Period D: Keep researching science fair ! try the mass science fair website for ideas

Reminders: This weekend I will try to print up an update on all of your grades so you can see where you stand.  We will probably have a quiz on the next section the following week and a test at the end of that week as well (just a look ahead).  Progress reports close Fri Oct 5th !

Have a fantastic, fun, safe, & productive weekend :)
