Hello everyone.  Here is what is going on in class today & the rest of the week

FORENSICS

Students in forensics took a quiz today on toxicology.  This quiz covered drug schedules, drug classes, role of the toxicologist, and alcohol information.  Toxicology will be a large part of the test students will take on the day of their final. After the quiz we started our ballistics unit with a video about the JFK assassination. This video will explore the ballistics that helped investigators determined what happened and will also delve into some conspiracy theories.  We will watch this video (and students should answer corresponding questions in their packets) until Monday when we take notes on our last section, ballistics. 

Reminder: Students took the final with the senior at the end of May.  That grade will show up on their report card as their final.  Students will take a class test on toxicology & ballistics on Monday 6/24 when their final is scheduled.

INTEGRATED SCIENCE

Students took a quiz on cell basics and cell organelles in class today.  This will be the last quiz of the year ! Tomorrow we will start reviewing for the final using review packets students will work on in class and for homework over the next few days.  We have one last bit of information to go over on cell membranes and cell transport which students read about after the quiz today and we will follow up with tomorrow as well.  All students received grade updates this week and should have a good idea of any make-up or late work they need to turn in as well as where they stand for Term 4.

Reminder: ALL STUDENTS will take the written portion of the final WEDNESDAY 6/19.  Students will be allowed to use a cheat sheet during the final (written & multiple choice) which I will explain tomorrow in class.  Students are responsible for filling the cheat sheet out and bringing it to class
