Happy Half Day ! Here is what is going on in class:

FORENSICS

Today we started reviewing for the final on Friday.  All students regardless of grade will take the final on Friday !  Therefore underclassmen will have a general test in place of another final in June. The final will be about 60 multiple choice questions and then a writing portion (more of a chart fill out) and students will have 90 minutes to complete the entire test.  Today we reviewed the crime scene basics, eye-witness accounts, handwriting, and chromatography units by going through the PowerPoint presentations and completing a review packet.  Tomorrow we will go over the packet for any questions and then will go through the remaining units.  I will collect both review packets on Friday before the test because i would like you to have them to study from.  Even if you are exempt from the final you are still responsible for completing the review packet work.

Review Packet #1 (Due Fri.)

INTEGRATED SCIENCE

Today in class we went over material for our test on organic molecules tomorrow.  The test will be multiple choice and fill-ins for format and will be worth 40 assessment points.  The other 60 points of the test will be in the form of a writing assignment that we will start on Friday and will work on in class.  Today we went through a study guide that gives an overview and image of each organic molecule and went over the homework chart on the board.  Students then used the remainder of class to work on a vocabulary review crossword puzzle in preparation for the test.
