I hope everyone had a great weekend.Here is what went on in class today:

FORENSICS

Today in class we continued reviewing for the Test on Blood tomorrow (Tues. 5/21).  This test will be comprised of mainly multiple choice and fill-in questions about blood basics and blood spatter.  Today in class students filled in a review packet in anticipation of the quiz and we went over a study guide tat outlined what important concepts will be covered on the test.  As a class we then played review BINGO which goes over the main ideas in the review packet.  Students will take the test tomorrow and then we will start reviewing for the final

Final News
All students will take the final on Friday 5/24 whether no matter what grade you are in.  The underclassmen will still have class after the seniors leave but we will just be working on the toxicology unit so the "final" in June will just be a general test.  Seniors that qualify for final exemption will be notified on Wednesday after i have graded the blood tests but will be responsible for final review work


INTEGRATED SCIENCE
Today in class as started reviewing for our test on organic molecules which will be on Friday 5/24.  Today we compared and contrasted proteins & nucleic acids viz a Venn-Diagram on the board and then finished questions from our organic molecule lab last week. Students then worked in groups to complete a review packet which i will grade for accuracy and serves as a good tool for review.  The rest of this week we will review for the test Friday and tomorrow I will introduce a writing assignment about organic molecules.
